I just posted a saga in my new Wildlife Lovers Club...join if you like. I returned from a week long wolf tracking trip to Algonquin Provincial Park (Feb, 2009). We were privileged to observe wolf behavior from about .25 -.50 mile away as they fed on a moose carcass, chased off an interloper, and even one day when a fisher fed on the moose while the wolves were away. We also tracked wolves in another part of the park, cross country skied and snow shoed, found fox and mink tracks, one group saw an otter and one lone tracker saw 2 moose, we all observed close up behavior of martens feeding and in general had a blast! Have you had an interesting wildlife viewing experience lately? Check out the club and I'd like to post more of my photos but can't figure out how...in meantime, they're on zenfolio:
Happy tracking and watching...
